PATRICK DENNEHY MEMORIAL RUMBLE IN THE BAY PLAYING RULES

1. NCAA college rules with the following exceptions listed below. 2. Each player will be allowed a total of six (6) fouls before being disqualified. There will be only six (6) total players on the line during freethrows and that’s including the shooter.
3. All games will be played in two (2) sixteen (16) minute halves. Stop Clock
4. There will be a three (3) minute rest period between halves.
5. Teams will be allowed to call two (2) full & two (2) thirty second time-outs during the regulation game.
6. There will be a minimum of (5) minute warm-up between games.
7. No game will begin before the time listed on the official game schedule.
8. Players will be allowed to play for one team only. A player can only play on a second team if it’s his own high school team and the teams are in separate divisions.
9. All players must be at least 2006 graduates or younger.
10. Any violations discovered of rule #8 & #9 will result in game forfeitures.
11. In pool play, the home team is the second team listed in each pair, will wear light colored jerseys and sit to the left of the scorekeeper facing the court.
12. In bracket play, the home team is the bottom team in the bracket will wear light colored jerseys and sit to the left of the scorekeeper facing the court.
13. Final pool standings will be determined by win-lose records against teams within the same pool. Only the top three teams from each pool will advance expect in the Elite division (all teams). All fourth place teams will get one final consolation game.
14. Tie-breaking procedures for pool play placing will be determined in the following manner: A. Two (2) tied teams will be determined by head to head competition. B. Three (3) tied teams will be determined by the point differential in all pool games with a maximum of a twenty (15) point differential in any one game.
15. Overtime will consist of two (2) minutes with one (1) thirty second timeout until there is a winner. If, a second overtime is needed one (1) minute on the clock with one (1) thirty second timeout.
16. Any player or coach fighting or disqualified because of there conduct may be banned from further participation in the tournament.
17. Players & Coaches must wear their wristbands at all times. Each team will only get 15 wristbands for the team and coaches.
